CivicaNet, Banca Civica's electronic banking service, lets you manage your account from any location and at any hour without the need to visit a branch. With CivicaNet you have your own convenient, useful and easy to use you branch 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
You can access CivicaNet via the internet, by land line or mobile telephone or from a personal computer.
Using any of these means you can check the status of your accounts, make payments, transfers and other transactions, find out about Banca Civica products and services and sign on for them, order financial, savings or investment transactions, etc.
Both access - via a personal log in and signature - and the instructions and transactions you complete via CivicaNet will be completely private and secure.
The personal log in to access CivicaNet are secret and confidential. Only you know them and we recommend that you don't reveal them to anyone, nor write them down anywhere where they can be recognised. Keep this in mind because all transactions made on CivicaNet using this log in are considered as having been ordered by you.
To access CivicaNet we will ask you to identify yourself by entering:
- Your unique user code, which we will give you when you sign on to CivicaNet.
- An automatic, randomly generated access key, which we will also provide you with when you sign on to the service. You should change this key once you have logged on to CivicaNet for the first time. Thereafter only you know the pass word and you are solely responsible for its use. You can change it at any time you wish.
Also, depending on the transaction that you are performing on CivicaNet, we will ask you for one or two additional security password.
- A signature password, which we will request when you are performing or confirming certain transactions, such as funds transfers, formalising contracts, etc.
- Special security password. We can request this additional password before certain transactions to make them more secure.
Take care when entering your passwords. For security reasons you may not enter them incorrectly more than twice. The system will treat the third incorrect entry as though someone is trying to gain unauthorised access and will automatically block further attempts.
If this occurs and your entry or signature passwords are blocked you must visit your local branch and they will be unblocked straight away.
If at any time you believe that CivicaNet's confidentiality is at risk, either through loss, theft, forgery or any other cause that affects your access, you must let us know as soon as possible.
Do this as quickly as possible because, until we are informed, BANCA CIVICA cannot be held responsible for the use of the passwords nor for the transactions performed by their use. Regardless, you can cancel access to CivicaNet at any time by contacting BANCA CIVICA.
For security reasons we will not allow access to accounts nor carry out payment orders, transfers or other transactions where reasonable doubt exists as to the identity of the person issuing these orders. We will contact you immediately before re-activating the service.
